Our days
Lately it seems as though the above comic strip summarizes my days perfectly! I'm trying to keep the house "show ready", but am constantly diffusing potentially life threatening (in someones mind) situations. So today, I'm trying to "catch up" from the episodes of last week. I think I have 10 loads of laundry to do on top of the vacuuming, tidying, dishes, sweeping, scrubbing, and disaster patrol that has become my daily life. You know those tornado warnings I posted about, well, I don't think that my house would look any worse if one actually hit! I just have to laugh! It really is quite, well, comical. I should post a warning sign on my front door to people coming to look at the house, "WARNING: small objects may be strewn about in an unorganized fashion. Watch your step!" I know all of my faithful readers understand 100% what I'm talking about, so here's to you, the women who know (and admit) that their kids aren't perfect angels and that sometimes they do burn the dinner, and that some days their house does look like a national disaster area. You help me see the joy in the journey and help me enjoy the ride. Ladies, life is a roller coaster, so just throw up your arms and scream!

First, I have to tell you that We love our bumbo. We use it all the time. Kate has been our center piece for many family dinners. When she is tall enough we will use it as a booster. I've already gotten rid of the high chair, just to save space. And as for trying to show your house with 4 kids, I would go nuts! I'm sure your doing better than I would. Good Luck!
lol soo true! I scream with you. Whooo hoo! We've got a teether so no more good naps or tidying up.
Honey, I hear ya!! I am currently looking for the yellow "Disaster Area" tape to plaster around my basement, however I can't find it...hmmmmm....must be lost somewhere in the mess (along with everything else I've been looking for)! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to see you again!
I feel the same way. It seems I can't keep up with the nursing and diapers let alone keeping things cleaned up or getting myself ready. Does it ever get better? Yes life feels crazy but I am sure we wouldn't have it any other way.
I agree with LeAnn...I wouldn't have it any other way. I know that it has got to be sooooooo stressful showing a house with 4 munchkins. My parents did it a lot with all 8 of us, and somehow survived. I know that you are doing great! Keep us all posted on any news!! Good Luck Heather! My thoughts are with you!! Hang in there!
I'm excited you are coming to St. George soon! I need to hold that little boy!!! Even though things are crazy now, having kids will end up only being a fraction of our lives. I always remind myself of how much I'll miss it and how bored I will one day be without all the chaos!
986-1105...sorry...I forgot to give it to you earlier!
Well sister- I feel your pain, as that has been my life for the past year! It is easier for me because my kids are older but the giant velcro strips I have in my garage along with the velcro suits I make them put on while Im cleaning helps!
Seriously I think Im smart by kicking them out the door to play in the backyard- but then it ALWAYs backfires when they come in and out and in and out bringing in about a pound of sand with them from the pit. I dont think theres a plan- just know it is a full time job to keep it all together. Why are you selling?
I can make you that sign. Color, size, font. Just let me know. Just kidding. Can't wait to see you again.
